Which time LOL? I have been here a few times. It’s rather addictive.
How did you come to meet the owner, Dave Lewis?
Dave recruited me, and we have been colleagues (and friends) ever since.
What do you like most about working at Galaxy?
What’s there not to like? We are all like one big family. We work hard, but that is made easy by how close we have all become. Chesterfield is like that – we are all one big community and Galaxy is like a family within that.
Give us a fun fact about you?
It’s safe to conclude that I am a weird giggler.
Any funny stories you can reveal?
We scared one of the drivers (can’t be named for reputation purposes) and he screamed like a scared schoolgirl in a horror film….Bless him
What do you like most about working in Chesterfield?
The people – simple! Everyone is super friendly, we have a community vibe and if anyone needs anything, it’s our duty to help. It’s very different from the big cities like London. We all know each other and it’s a fantastic community to work in and also, most importantly, raise kids in.
Tell us about the Galaxy Travel Taxis office..
The Joker – Kirsty, by a mile. The most delusional is Trevor, he is so easy going. Shipon is the OCD cleaner, but we couldn’t do without her. Gemma is by far the best-dressed. She looks like she’s on a night out at 9 am. James B is the office enforcement. If you leave a dirty mug out, he will be issuing a fine. Linda is our office Mum. Advice, cuddles..Linda has it all
